India have won the match 6-0 and have entered the semi-finals......India are the defending champions and would top Pool B. They play their last pool match against Thailand on Wednesday. India now have 12 points and hopefully after beating Thailand they would go to 15 points and top the Pool. Final scores: India 6 Bangladesh 0. The man-of-the-match is Bangladesh goalkeeper Zahid.
Raghunath finally gets his bearings right when he flicks powerfully off India's 7th PC to take the score to 6-0. GOALLLLLL. India now lead 6-0.....
India get their sixth penalty corner and waste it. Raghunath flicks but the ball doesn't rise above knee height making it easy for the Bangladesh goalkeeper to effect a save. India lead 5-0 with nine minutes remaining...
India get their fifth GOAL...Prabjoth gets the ball in the striking circle and with a reverse shot beats the Bangladesh goalkeeper all ends up. GOALLLLLL. India lead 5-0
India are on the attack. A cross from the right flank finds Shivender who send the ball goalwards where Prabhjot is standing on the line to ensure that the ball goes in. GOALLLLLLLL....India now lead 4-0......
India have a penalty corner, their 5th. But the Bangladesh players are arguing that the ball hit Tushar's feet before hitting the Bangla defender. India earn their 3rd PC. Dilip swipes and lets the ball roll for Sardara whose shot is taken on the pads by the Bangladesh goalkeeper. Rajpan picks up the rebound but the flick goes onto the pads again and over the goalmouth. 27 minutes gone and the teams are still tied goalless.
Prabhjot, Rajpal move into Bangladesh territory. Ignace gets the ball and send it to Tushar whose angular deflection races past the post. 20 minutes into the first half and India are taking it a bit easy. They are not going all out and are waiting to create a chance and get the goal. India had a chance but the ball went into the goal off Minzs' foot.
India had a great opportunity when Roshan Minz dribbled in from the left flank and tapped the ball into the vacant circle but Tushar was a step ahead of the ball and couldn't trap it in time. India are initiating the attacks but are still to find the target.
